Rabbit skin plates (bands)
Plates — bandas in Spanish — are rabbit skins prepared for workshops that need a cloth, not a loose skin. We tan them in Jorba with flexible, strong leather, soft fur and, when required, a durable dye. The English URL says bands; commercially we call them plates, which is how many buyers ask.
What a plate is
It is not the same as a whole skin for artisan cutting, and it is not a strip. Plates are used when the workshop needs a more continuous panel: linings, fields of a garment, work that uses the width. The leather has to take stitching; the fur has to look even. That is why tanning and dyeing matter more than a catalogue photo.

Colour
You can work from a sample, as with dyed skins. Natural colour has more shade variation; for a closed colour on plates, a sample avoids arguments when the load arrives.
